Das Kunsthaus Zürich landet auch auf dem Mond
March. On 5 April the Kunsthaus opens the exhibition "Fly me to the Moon" on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing as part of the Apollo 11 mission.
The Kunsthaus Zürich dedicates a exibition to an event that moves the world - the moon landing. The exhibition with around 200 works is a ramble through the history of artistic engagement with the moon. Starting from the Romantic period, its focus is on post-war art. Topics such as topography, moonlight and moon shadows, media productions and weightlessness combine historical facts with legends and subjective creations.
