This hotel is about a 10 minute minute walk from the Zurich HB station
its location is excellent. There are also a large number of restaurants nearby. The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful! The breakfast is very good [fresh fruit, not canned] and the staff there very good. Overall a great price for the area. This was my third time staying here and I highly recommend it!
Excellent location! Centrally located and easy walk to main station
Beds are firm, heating worked pretty well in January to keep the room comfortable. There was a water refill machine, hot drinks and bowl of fruit easily accessible
Area was quiet at night (courtyard facing room), can hear some noise from other rooms but earplugs are provided
Breakfast was small but lovely. Refilled often, scrambled eggs were great. Plenty of coffee options

Loved it all. This is a historic hotel in city center. Super close to public transportation. It is not an American style hotel. Rooms are small, but very comfortable.

Decent breakfast for a short stay. Excellent location. Complimentary coffee and croissant available at reception if you skip breakfast. My room also had a minibar with drinks included.

Convenient and enjoyable hotel
Our primary purpose for our first visit to Zurich ( from Australia) was to visit Christmas Markets. Hotel Alexander was located in a very convenient position to access those at the train station, the city centre and those immediately across the road. The hotel was very comfortable with helpful staff and special touches such as the free coke, beer and water in the mini bar and the fruit and water fountain (with sparkling water) on the second floor. There was also a book exchange shelf which is something I always welcome. There are many places to eat within the immediate vicinity and a supermarket a couple of doors away.
Great Hotel in the Heart of Old Town
Since we were traveling by train from one destination to the next, our primary criteria for a hotel was to find a nice hotel near the train station so we would not need to drag our luggage a great distance. Hotel Eden Wolff was terrific - just a 6 - 8 minute walk from the train station. Plus the staff was great, the rooms were small but nice, and the included breakfast was excellent. The hotel was quiet, conveniently located in the Old Town, and comfortable. We found a self service laundry a block away. Highly recommended.
Everything was perfect during our stay.
Especially the place of hotel and breakfast was great. The stuff was really helpful and they show that they care about you. It was great to see people smile during work. Special thanks to Mr. Marc and all the personnel.

Phenomenal Hospitality
From allowing us to store our luggage for free, providing us with an early check-in, a free complimentary breakfast each morning, and a free WiFi hot-spot that worked in Liechtenstein and Switzerland, it made our holiday very enjoyable with a stress-free peace of mind. Thank you!
Excellent hotel we couldn't have asked for better
Even before arrival they were reachable by email and answered my questions.
On the day of arrival they allowed us to check in early, put chocolates on the beds - it was lovely.
The room was well equipped and luxurious, use of the minibar was free.
Spacious room and good shower, great breakfast.
The location of the hotel is excellent! We hardly needed public transportation, everything was within walking distance.
And most importantly, a nice and friendly staff who provided excellent service.
I highly recommend it to anyone coming to Zurich.
